About us
Community Nurse
Since 1921, Community Nurse has provided comprehensive, quality health care and supportive services to lower income and uninsured residents of the western suburbs of Chicago. Our emphasis is on assisting individuals who have difficulty accessing health care due to several barriers. These barriers include limited financial means, language and cultural differences, and lack of health insurance.
To be eligible for our services, patients must meet specific residency and income requirements. Family incomes cannot exceed 200% of the federal poverty level. CNHA is the safety net for health care for working poor families.
Our service area encompasses the 15 western suburbs of:
Brookfield, Burr Ridge, Clarendon Hills, Countryside, Hinsdale, Hodgkins, Indian Head Park, LaGrange, LaGrange Highlands, LaGrange Park, Lyons, McCook, Westchester, Willow Springs and Western Springs.
